About me

For the past 27 years, I have been helping clients buy and sell homes as they start new lives, settle and resettle, change course, upsize, downsize and rightsize.I grew up in North Bay and moved to Toronto for university. I have degrees in psychology and education. I could have chosen a career in those fields, but real estate pulled at me. I love homes and design. I love neighbourhoods and I love getting to know all sorts of different people.

My clients come back to me over and over again because I understand them. I know that buying and selling a home can be one of life’s most important moments. It is thrilling to buy a first house. It can be just as exciting to move on to bigger and better. It can be sad to say goodbye to a house that has a lifetime of memories. It can feel bittersweet (and a relief!) to downsize into a more manageable space. Homes are about transitions. My specialty? Helping you make the best real estate decisions during those amazing, stressful and life-changing times.

I’ve sold thousands of houses and I have a long track record of finding the best homes at the best prices. I know that my job is not just about buying and selling. It’s about an eye for space and design. It’s about creativity and imagination. It’s about expert staging and top negotiating skills. It’s about counselling clients about when to act, when to stretch themselves, and when to wait. It’s about knowing that neighbourhoods are as important as the house itself because neighbourhoods can change lives. They tie into schools and communities. My own children – now 21, 18 and 16 – grew up in a neighbourhood that has shaped them. Our neighbours have become our family.

It’s no wonder that 90% of my business comes from referrals. Or that I’ve worked with four generations of families. I’ve found middle-aged parents more than one home, I’ve helped their kids buy their first houses, and I’ve worked with the grandparents to buy condos. It’s not complicated. My relationships are built on trust and integrity. I get the job done every time, and I do it making the process enjoyable, hassle-free and a lot of fun, no matter what the circumstances. That’s what makes me so different as a real estate agent.
